Eight links

1 of 8 links claimed · 0 evidenced

Compiled from public sources, unclaimed. What they mean

Each link
  1. 1. Real personClaimed

Person · Claimed. "Certified pilots" capture the data. Real estate pilots are "vetted and tested", and Zeitview says it is FAA-permitted for commercial flight and insured at every job site. Partners API missions record pilot_accepted, pilot_arrived and pilot_departed timestamps.

Still open: How pilot identity and certification are checked, and whether the delivered files were captured by that pilot. Customers may also upload their own data.

  2. 2. Captured locallyNot stated

    Camera · Not stated

Still open: Not a signed capture, so none (STANDARD §3). What is stated: RGB, thermal, lidar and methane sensors on drones, fixed-wing aircraft and robotic crawlers. Sensor output is not signed or tamper-evident, and there is no C2PA support. Nothing rules out edited images or photos of a screen.

Place · Claimed. Data is geotagged to the asset or component. Each image from the Partners API carries GPS latitude, longitude and altitude. Methane detections include a precise GPS location.

Still open: Positional accuracy, where the geotag comes from, and resistance to GPS spoofing or substituted files are not documented.

Needs both: the weaker one counts.

  3. 3. Genuine deviceNot stated

    App · Not stated

Still open: No claim that capture goes through a controlled or attested app. The Partners API lets some integrations use a third-party flight app and upload tool, and nothing says imagery cannot be replaced before upload.

  4. 4. Sealed captureNot stated

Content · Claimed. AI models flag anomalies, then certified analysts or domain experts review and validate each finding before delivery

Still open: Review error rates are not published, and nothing says a fabricated or staged capture would be caught. The terms say Zeitview "does not review the information collected during performance" of its services (6.5).

Counts only with a stated signing mechanism (C2PA, a manifest).

  5. 5. Known timestampReported

Time · Claimed. Each image from the Partners API carries a taken_at timestamp, and missions carry status timestamps. Each methane detection includes a timestamp.

Still open: The source of taken_at (likely camera metadata) is not documented, and it is not signed or checked against an independent clock.

A time stated, not attested (RFC 3161, a log): Reported.

  6. 6. Tracked in transitNot stated

Custody record (optional field) · Not stated

  7. 7. Independently verifiedNot stated

    Cross-check · Not stated

Still open: Nothing independent confirms a capture. Repeat surveys and the portfolio view are Zeitview's own data. The FAQ calls its methane measurement EPA-approved, but Zeitview is not named on EPA's alternative test methods page.

  8. 8. Delivered to youNot stated

Delivery receipt (optional field) · Not stated

Notes

About. Asset intelligence company (formerly DroneBase) whose pilots collect drone, fixed-wing and robotic-crawler data for energy, utility and property assets, then add AI analysis and expert review. It also sells fixed-price drone photo and video packages for US commercial real estate, and has a contact-gated Partners API for bulk mission orders.

Price. Commercial real estate, per listing: Images $379, Starter $479, Pro $649. Strip, convenience, neighborhood and community centers (up to 400,000 sq ft), per center: Images $409, Starter $579, Pro $769. Each package includes up to one hour of flight time on site and image hosting. Volume and enterprise pricing by contact. Enterprise terms: fees in USD, quotes valid 90 days, fees non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Coverage. The About page claims coverage in 80+ countries and "the largest drone pilot network in the industry". Other pages give lower, segment-specific figures: properties 20+ countries, solar 70+, wind 40. The properties and solar pages claim 80,000 pilots; the utilities page says 11K+, described as US utility coverage. Real estate packages cover "anywhere in the continental United States". No country list is published. The Partners API rejects missions in FAA-protected airspace. Per-country density and lead times are not published.

Timing. Commercial real estate page: "Zeitview will visit and fly the site within a few days (subject to weather). After the flight, allow two additional business days for aerial marketing packages, and three to five business days for edited marketing videos." Other services: not published.

Licence. General Terms and Conditions (dated October 8, 2025): Zeitview owns its services and "related technology and deliverables", and the customer acquires no IP in them (8.1). The customer owns its Confidential Information and Customer Data, defined as data about the customer (2.3, 8.2). Services are for the customer's "own internal or personal purposes" (5.1). The customer grants Zeitview a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable licence to Customer Data to provide services, optimise them and create anonymised data sets (8.3). Zeitview may use service data, including AI-generated annotations and anonymised data sets, to improve and develop its services, and may disclose it in aggregate or de-identified form (8.6). Separately, the Site Terms of Service (s.7) give Zeitview a perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable licence, including the right to sell, over content submitted to the Site. The commercial real estate page instead says "All drone aerial photography is yours to own and use as you like". Neither document mentions AI or model training rights for the buyer, or resale.
